Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By requesting, confirming, or using a studio rental from Filmera Atelier (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and any referenced policies, including our Privacy Policy available on filmera.click.

2. Bookings and holds

• Holds are tentative and may be challenged by confirmed bookings.
• We will notify you if your hold is challenged and provide a reasonable window to confirm or release.
• Booking confirmations require a signed agreement and payment method on file.

3. Rates and payments

• Rates are quoted per hour unless otherwise stated and exclude taxes and add-ons.
• Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments at 1.5x of the contracted hourly rate unless stated otherwise.
• Invoices are due upon receipt unless credit terms are agreed in writing.

4. Cancellations

• 7+ days before the start time: full refund of studio time; third-party costs may be non-refundable.
• 3–6 days before: 50% of studio time is due.
• Within 72 hours: 100% of studio time is due.

5. Use of facilities

• Respect posted safety guidance and power distribution limits.
• No smoking or haze without prior written approval and appropriate fire safety measures.
• Protect floors and walls when building sets. Restore spaces to their original condition.

6. Damage and insurance

• You are responsible for damage caused by your team or vendors during your booking.
• We may require a certificate of insurance listing Filmera Atelier as additionally insured.

7. Conduct

• Treat staff, neighbors, and property with respect. Harassment or discrimination is not tolerated.
• Follow reasonable directions from our on-site managers.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

9. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters or utility outages. We will work in good faith to reschedule.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of laws principles.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates take effect upon posting the revised version with a new effective date.
